This is a conservatively graded example of the key date and final year of the series. Textbook brown surfaces are seen for this date, with some light woodgrain texture present but not distracting like on many examples. There is a light scratch on the cheek the graders saw that likely prevented a 64 or 65 BN, in this author’s opinion. I still think it warrants a 64 BN. The coin virtually has no hits and has good luster. The reverse has some red as well. This coin was housed in a dansco album for years from The Plant Doctor collection & recently graded.
