1882 1c Indian Head Cent PCGS MS 65 RD PhotoSeal *Lustrous and Early Die State*

$1,320.00

A lustrous and full red 1882 with strong die polish lines on the reverse. Many collectors don't know that the early-to-mid 1880s cents were struck using different alloy-mix compositions that make red coins look very different than coins from the 1890s, 1900s etc. This red color appears more "muted" and "darker" but that doesn't mean these coins aren't full red, that's just how they were produced. When slightly tilted under a light, the full red surfaces shine luminously on the obverse and reverse. PhotoSeal approved with card.
