Light golden-hay color and brilliant, satiny luster dances across this fully-struck, first year of issue of the Indian Head Cent series. There are no significant abrasions or hits of note, and frankly, this coin is crème de la crème for the grade. No brainer CAC endorsement. There is an interesting cracked planchet at 8:30 on the reverse, extending downwards from the denticles & across the rim to about 10 on the obverse. There is also light red toning peaking through the patina on the reverse. There are extremely strong comps for 64 CACs of this date, mostly all north of 2k for recent sales. This one is offered at a good value considering the demand for the issue.
