1882 1c Snow 6 Indian Head Cent PCGS AU 58 CAC Misplaced Digits MPD FS-302

$805.00
sold out

A challenging misplaced digit with two bases of 1 right on top of each other found in on Liberty's necklace. A 4 star variety in Rick's book, making it one of the most sought after varieties in the series and in the Top 20 list of IHC varieties. This coin is a beautiful chestnut brown with a good strike and clean fields. One very light scratch on cheek seen when tilted at an angle. Nearly 4 diamonds with the 3rd diamond showing a tinge of wear on the bottom. Good luster and tips. CAC approved.
